* American Disc Jockey
              Association The
              A.D.J.A. is an organization of professional DJ companies who
              are concerned with maintaining a high standard of quality in
              performance and business ethics in order to ensure that you,
              the customer, receive the best possible music service for your
              function.
              
* ASCAP The American Society
              of Composers, Authors, and Publishers protects professional music
              songwriters. Nightclubs are required to pay ASCAP fees. Learn
              more about the legalities of spinning.
              
* BMI Broadcast Music Incorporated is an American performing rights
              organization that represents more than 300,000 songwriters, composers
              and music publishers in all genres of music.
              
* DanceSafe seeks to educate young
              adults about the harms associated with drug usage, particularly

              and mental health.
              
* IFPI is a UK based organization representing the international
              recording industry. It comprises a membership of 1400 record
              producers and distributors in 76 countries.
              
* Recording
              Industry Association of America (RIAA) represents the recording industry and
              distributes over 90% of the music produced and sold in the United
              States. This is the organization that challenged Napster and
              other MP3 related firms.
              
* Winter
              Music Conference (WMC)
              is an annual convention dedicated to dance music and DJ's. As
              WMC puts it "during the five-day conference week, relationships
              are forged, deals struck and some of the biggest records of the
